Pretty ruler, reason purchased app, not useable as cant seem to be able to lock in a start point to get measurement longer than the iPhone screen , sweeping the numbers on the screen is neat, but doesnt help measure a four one half foot board. Whats the secret ?

I have an iPhone 7. The ruler is off by about 50%. The other functions of the app work well, and it is nicely designed. But it is frustrating that the ruler is so inaccurate.

Its a nice interface and the tools are useful, accurate, and convenient. Except for the ruler. Im pretty sure it was fine on some other phone I had, but its not correct on the iPhone SE. My 3.5" long screen shows under 3" of ruler.

Five star when you fix for iPhone 7plus. Till then you get one star. Keep up the good work.

I found this app early on and have used it many times both at home and at work. I find the level to be extremely accurate. Easily one of my favorite apps.

Awesome tool

Good for all sorts of projects. Even accurate enough to set up my satellite for tailgating.

In my line of work Ive had to call on the app time and time again. I have recommended the app to many.

I use it all the time, when inspecting customers houses, checking my own work when Ive left the level on my van... Its a cool tool.

On iPhone+ models, this app is worthless. Since iOS 7, Apple has included a level in the compass app. Since the level represents three of the functionality modes in this app, the remaining two, protractor and ruler, need to be accurate. Unfortunately, the protractor obscures the precise angle of measurement and, on the iPhone+, the ruler is scaled incorrectly. Making this app a waste of space on your phone.

Has all the features I want except a clinometer! Would love to see that added!!!! Would also be great to have access to this on my iPad!!

Very useful, well done app.

However, that accuracy has gone away. I had not used handy carpenter for almost 6 mos and was trying to level a desk, but it was way off. Recalibrate and compared with a traditional bubble level. It would be consistent for a short time then gives different figures checking the same spot after doing a couple others, did another check and each time the values were different for the same spots. Even leaving on a spot the figures would slowly change.

The ruler is off. Enough said. 1 star for that!

Since I got this specifically for the ruler, I want a refund. It still measures the screen as 3 inches long, and no information or obvious method to fix the scale for the larger screen size. There is not even any mention that larger screens dont work with the ruler. Fix this and 5 stars.
